Glad for the yap, and glad you're doing better enough to yap at length. :D For Japanese, the best way to get a handle on pronunciation is to break them down into their consonant+vowel pairs. There are exceptions, but repeating the "A, I, U, E, O... Ka, Ki, Ku, Ke, Ko..." "Ah, Ii, Oo, Eh, Oh... Kah, Kii, Koo, Keh, Koh..." is a great starting point. Cruel Angel's Thesis is a good song to train you on the basic pronunciation as well, since it's pretty clear with it's enunciation.

@ 1:52:50 - The reason it is so good is because of actual world building. The reason why Oriemo is one of my favorite animes, is because he went with the extra mile to make the world feel real. Almost everything that I had a question about ended up getting answered. Very few shows are able to do that. I think Chunibyo did very well on that too. Maybe Spice and Wolf? But in general world building just tends to not be that good. It's why, despite being about a stepbrother and stepsister relationship, its still good
